My .30-30 caliber Winchester Model 94 “Ranger” lever-action carbine. This rifle is classically styled in the western manner and the tubular magazine holds six of the deer-stopping rounds. Designed by John Moses Browning, this gun was introduced in 1894 and the .30-30 round followed shortly after. A staple deer gun for decades afterwards, small numbers were used by stateside security personnel during both world wars. Large numbers were also used by Pancho Villa during the Mexican revolution of 1910-1920.
Mine was produced during the late 1990s and has the push button safety from that era on the receiver. If drawing a scene from decades ago using this picture as reference for a .30-30 Wincester 94, omit the push button safety!

i like the bolt action rifles from WWII but this rifle and the mouser pistol are beatiful weapons ....you lucky basterd

Thanks! This Winchester I picked up in 2002 ( I think) for around $350 ( I can't remember for sure) in Marion Kansas where I lived at the time. The mauser broomhandle pistol I have up is a drawing; I don't own one, as of yet anyways.
